Master’s Accelerator Housing

As a Master’s Accelerator student at Adelphi University, you have the freedom to choose where you live.

There are many safe, comfortable, and affordable residences near the Adelphi campus. For instance, some graduate students, including international students, choose to live in the nearby Modera Mineola Apartments, while others choose to live in an off-campus option of their choice.

About Modera Mineola Apartments

Adelphi University offers housing options for graduate students at the Modera Mineola Apartments, just a few kilometers from the Adelphi campus. Please note that this housing option has limited space and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Modera Mineola Apartments feature apartment-style housing with luxurious amenities, including:

  • Single bedroom (private) or double bedroom (shared),
  • Kitchen and dining area with appliances,
  • One or two bathrooms,
  • Central heating and air conditioning,
  • Full-size clothes washer and dryer,
  • Flat-screen television,
  • And private balcony for apartments facing the courtyards.

Also available in the building:

  • Reserved garage parking (extra fee required),
  • Free Wi-Fi in resident social spaces,

ABOUT THE ST.GEORGE RESIDENCE

Adelphi University also offers housing options for graduate students at the EHS St. George Residence, located in the cool and diverse Brooklyn area of New York City. The Brooklyn Heights neighborhood is a one hour train ride from the Adelphi campus, and just a few minutes subway ride to Manhattan.

Please note: Students living in off-campus housing will need to purchase a Long Island Railroad pass at the cost of $252 per month and a monthly subway pass for $121 per month. Students living off campus have the option to purchase a limited campus meal plan (eight meals per week), but it is also recommended students budget for additional meals and groceries.

**Cost ranges represent Adelphi International’s off-campus housing option. It is a double room with bathroom. Cost varies depending on the housing option you choose, the duration of your program and your semester of entry. Cost does not include LIRR transportation to campus from off-campus housing in Brooklyn Heights. Students should budget $373 per month for transportation to campus.
